Charlan, a traditionally south facing maison de maître property built in 1698 is for adults only. Set in 3 acres, on the River Lot, 2km from Aiguillon. 2 double guest rooms and 1 single guest room, private guest lounge and private pool.
Charlan is set in 3 acres of land, has an electric gate and is bordered by the River Lot with approximately 100 meters of private river frontage, great for carp fishing.
Charlan is surrounded by acres of kiwi fruit plantations and agricultural land and the only neighbour is approximately 200 meters away. The location is private and peaceful. The access road that passes by Charlan stops at the River Lot and is only used by ourselves, our neighbour and the occasional local fishermen.
Charlan is situated in a quiet rural area, but not an isolated position and is within easy walking distance of the picturesque village, Aiguillon (2km) that offers all amenities, including a supermarket, post office, banks, tourist board information centre, restaurants and a railway station and is within a 10 minute driving distance to the A62 motorway for access to Bordeaux and Toulouse.
The land that surrounds Charlan on all sides, is mainly laid to pasture and lawn, with some mature trees and a newly planted orchard. Charlan also has a 10m x 5m private swimming pool with an outside wc and changing area. Pool towels are provided.
