Ourdeaux French Holidays is situated in the Creuse in the Limousin, 6kms from the historic town of Aubusson.Ideal location for walking, cycling and fishing holidays,as an ideal base for househunting or just relax around our own private swimming pool. Set in an old granite farm, we have 5 rooms available for rent and provide Chambre/Table d'Hote. All rooms & restaurant are separate to the main dwelling. All diets catered for specialising in Gluten free food. There is lots to do in and around the area.

We have 3 double/twin and 2 family rooms with stunning veiws over the valley. All rooms are ensuite with tea & coffee making facilites, TV & DVD player. Wide range of DVDs books and games available.

Meals are taken in our Auberge which is separate to the main dwelling, able to seat 26 comfortably.

All meals are home cooked and prepared using fresh local ingredients.Meals range from traditional French food to European,Chinese & Indian dishes.

Attractions

There is lots to do and see in the Limousin. Many beautiful walks on our doorstep with stunning views of the countryside.

Lots of lakes for fishing enthusiasts. Several golf courses within easy reach. Exciting & challenging routes for cyclists.

We are close to Lac de Vassiviere which is a man made lake, and beach with fishing and watersports, ideal for a picnic on a sunny day.

An exciting outward bound park Arbre en Arbre is near to Lac de Vassiviere, this is suitable for all ages from small children up to adults. Including lots of climbing activities and zip wires to test your nerves.

Nearby is Mas du Clos racetrack, which holds regular race days for motorcycling and car enthusiasts to test their skills.

The wolf park Loup de Chabriere near Gueret is an exciting day out for adults and children, where you are able to see wolves in their natural habitat, and experience them being fed. Other farm animals can also be seen here.

Add to this an abundance of local markets & brocantes in the quaint towns surrounding the area and this makes Ourdeaux the perfect place to stay.
