Offering 3 double rooms and one twin, all with en-suite facilities and terrace, Manoir La Betoulle offers you the chance to stay in unrivalled luxury in a peaceful environment between Angouleme, Limoges and Confolens. The manoir is located in 90 acres of unspoilt countryside and 300 year old woodland and is a haven for ramblers and birdwatchers. Wild deer can be seen in the woods and cowslips line the pathways in springtime.
The house is built in the classical style on a grand scale and the rooms are individually furnished, each having a theme of its own. Guests are welcome to relax in the comfort of the spacious lounge areas and take breakfast in either the dining room or on the large terrace overlooking the grounds and pool. The energetic can swim in the huge roman tiled pool or play tennis on the hard court while those in search of relaxation can recline in comfort soaking up the warm Charente sun.

All 4 rooms have an en-suite bathroom with separate WC together with fitted wardrobes and dressing area. Under-floor heating ensures comfort in winter months. Every room is decorated in a different style using mainly 19th century antiques acquired by the owners over the last 15 years. The covered upper terrace is accessible from every room & is the perfect spot for chilling off in the late afternoon sun or enjoying a digestif while watching the sunset over the pool and grounds.
Price includes generous buffet breakfast & access to tea & coffee making facilities & use of a small fridge.

All our guests have use of the vast pool & tennis court. Racquets, balls & bikes for hire.

2 private villas set apart from the manoir & each other offer self catering accomodation. Built & decorated in the same style as the manoir, one villa is the perfect romantic villa just for 2, the other more spacious villa accomodates a family of 4 in comfort.

We are situated in the Charente Limousin region which benefits from easy access to airports at Limoges, Angouleme & Poitiers. An area rich in history with old castles, chateaux, pretty villages, lakes & vineyards. A wide choice of sporting activities in the area - Velorail, Adventure Parc, Horse riding & opportunities for watersports on the Charente, nearby lakes & in Angouleme. Valley des Singes, Futuroscope, Comic Strip Museum, the martyred village of Oradour, Cognac & Pineau distilleries.
