If you are looking for a French holidays accommodation, or a stop-off en route along the western side of France, then look no further.
La Jolie Maison offers you luxurious Chambre d'hote / Bed and Breakfast facilities, all rooms with Ensuites, in a warm & friendly atmosphere. We are open all year round for travel France vacations.

We have also added an above-ground swimming pool for your relaxation, (6mtrs x 4 mtrs) Just right to cool off in the French sunshine!
We are situated in the heart of Le Langon, a small farming village, close to Fontenay le Comte, in a very popular french culture tourist area of the Vendee, benefiting from a warm, sunny microclimate, driven by the Gulf Stream. It's only forty minutes drive from the Atlantic Coast, where the wonderful sandy beaches await you.
The medieval town of Fontenay Le Comte is close by, only fifteen minutes drive away, with plenty of quaint French lanes filled with shops & restaurants.
The famous re-enactment Park, The Puy du Fou, is only a short drive away, where you can go back in time to see a Jousting Knight, or a Fighting Gladiator, plus much, much more.
Le Langon borders onto Charente Maritime. There you will find the beautiful large french holidays town of La Rochelle, with it's french culture ancient towers that have guarded the old port for many centuries, surrounded by many restaurants, nestling around it's walls, giving you the chance to absorb the wonderful ambience over a meal and a bottle (or two!) of 'le vin'.
An Airport is situated in La Rochelle, only forty minutes from our French holidays Guest House, La Jolie Maison Bed and Breakfast, Le Langon, travel france vacation rentals.

If you are traveling by motorway (A83) you can exit on;
Exit 7, follow route to La Rochelle, D137, Just after passing through a village called St-Gemme-la-Plaine, you arrive at a roundabout, Lucon to your right, Fontenay to your left, go left, D949, follow road through various small villages, you will reach Mouzeuil st Martin, go past La Poste (on your left) almost opposite is a turning to Le Langon, head down there for about 3km, (you will go over a railway line)
Enter Le Langon, you will reach a T junction, with 'the Square' opposite, Cafe de Sport on your left. Turn left here, you will then come to a sharp left hand bend, & La Jolie Maison is on you right, just off of the bend, look for the large green gates.
Exit junction 8, go left at roundabout, heading for La Rochelle, follow this road, D968, until you come to a right hand turning to Le Poire sur velluire D68.
Follow road through villages, approx 8km, you will come into Le Langon, you will then reach a tricky T-junction, turn left here, follow road round, La Jolie Maison is on the Left hand side before you turn into a sharp Right hand bend, just before reaching the square.
